In this cover letter, I will elaborate on my motivation and qualifications to help your patients develop, recover and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working.
To shortly introduce myself, my name [Brooklyn Williams] and I am a registered occupational therapist (OTR) and certified physical rehabilitation practitioner (BCPR). I had the pleasure of speaking with [Ashley Brooks], an occupational therapist in your department, and she was highly positive about the delicate balance of medical efficiency without sacrificing personal comfort at [Hospital X]. During my four years of employment at [Hospital Y], I treated more than 200 patients with various diagnoses, from Multiple Sclerosis (MS) to Parkinson’s Disease (PD). Part of my role was to manage five OT assistants and interact with patients about the condition, progress and goals in treatment sessions.
