In response to your job advertisement listed on the school’s notice board, I’d like to express my interest in the open Teacher Assistant position at [School XYZ] in New York, NY. I am convinced that my educational background and interpersonal skills can add value to your teaching staff.
To shortly introduce myself, my name is [Jane Hughes] and I was excited when reading the job advertisement. I know that [School XYZ] is recognized for student diversity, outstanding students results and progressive education. [School XYZ]’s approach on experiential learning certainly helps the development of students’ talents.
With a strong knowledge base of mathematical fundamentals and passion for teaching, I can provide your 11th and 12th grade students with unique and educational materials.
