Example Answers
If the interview has gone well and you have nothing else to add:
“No, I believe we covered the most important topics. I’m really glad we had a chance to meet and talk about my background and the role. What’s next in the process after this?”
Or
“Thanks for asking, but I don’t have anything else to add. I believe we covered the most important topics. It was great learning about the position and [Company XYZ].”
If you can add something positive that the interviewer didn’t ask you about:
“Yes, actually I don’t think we covered [Topic], But I have a couple [X] years of experience in [Area of expertise], that I think will serve me well in this position. I’ll be able to anticipate questions and concerns that users come across and improve processes for solving user issues through [Software]. I feel like that’s something that makes me stand out, so I wanted to mention it.”
Or
“Yes, I just want to clarify a previous answer concerning my skills in [Field of expertise]. During my college years I gained some organizational experience by volunteering at campus events where I developed event strategies, assembled teams, managed logistics and marketed events. I feel like these experiences, even though it’s unpaid work, might serve me well in this position.”
