Example Answer (With Experience)

“Well, as I understand it, you are looking for someone with 5 years of experience in [Industry] who can use [Software X] and do [Task 1] listed in the job description. As an experienced  [Job title], with an emphasis in [Subject], I qualify and can contribute to your team right away. For example, a major achievement I’m most proud of is that I was able to complete [Project] within [Timespan] by doing [X]. Furthermore, I’ve always wanted to work in an organization like this because of [Reasons].”

Example Answer (No Experience)

I’m a keen user of [Product X] and intrigued by the technology and development behind these tech products. This results in me being a quick learner. I’m capable of understanding new information at a rapid pace and can therefore contribute to [Project] right away. The prospect of being involved in the IT-operations listed in the job description makes me feel excited and happens to be exactly the same experience that I seek for my career path.”
